Memoir Book CoverThe memoir book cover was completed under the instruction and guidance of Dr. Londie Martin. This document was created using Adobe InDesign, and the images used were found using the Google image search. The purpose of this document was to create a memoir book cover that discussed a significant part of our life and that could potentially be used if we decide to write an actual memoir. I had the opportunity to revise the original book cover and re-create an even better version; one that I may use once I write my own memoir.
Included in the Scribd window to the right is a PDF copy of the original book cover followed by a PDF copy of the revised version. In the Scribd window directly below the first Scribd window is a copy of a design memo that discusses my design rationale for this project. |

Event PosterThe event poster was also completed under the instruction and guidance of Dr. Londie Martin. The objective for this project was to collaborate with someone from a local group or organization and to receive client-lead feedback that we would then use to help guide our design choices for creating an event poster for that group or organization. For this project I chose to create a flyer for the Kid Chefs Cooking Class that was held at the Oley E. Rooker Library here in Little Rock.
This poster was created using Microsoft Word, and images used were found using Google image search. In the Scribd window to the right is a PDF copy of the event poster, followed by a design memo that discusses my design rationale for this project. |

A Quotes BookletThe quotes booklet was completed under the instruction and guidance of Dr. Londie Martin. The objective of this project was to create a modest booklet. This booklet could reflect or discuss any topic of our choice. After many brainstorming sessions and drafts, I decided to pay homage to the late Dr. Maya Angelou. All of the quotes featured in the booklet have either inspired or motivated me during difficult times, so I wanted to share them with others in hopes of inspiring and motivating others..
Each featured quote is followed by my own short interpretation of that quote or a song verse that I believed embodied that quote. This booklet was created using Adobe Illustrator. The quotes were found on a Maya Angelou quotes webpage that I found using the Google search engine, and the images included were also found using Google image search. In the Scribd window to the right, is a PDF copy of the booklet, followed by a design memo that discusses my design rationale for this project, |
